The Salyer family, who established SK Foods in 1990, has successfully
farmed diversified crops on a large-scale in California’s Central Valley
since the early 1900’s.
Family members have been frequently recognized as leaders in agriculture
nationwide. This experience and skill in agriculture is unique among
processors and clearly contributes to the success of SK Foods today.
Scott Salyer and a team of seasoned industry professionals lead SK Foods.
Several of these individuals have been associated with the Salyer family
and SK Foods for more than two decades.
In 2003 SK Foods became the sole owner of Cedenco Foods Ltd., with locations
in New Zealand and Australia, and of the Colusa County Canning Company based in
California’s Sacramento Valley.
These strategic acquisitions provide more reliability, increased capabilities and offer geographic diversity to our customers.
